School Culture & Systems

The Student Success Coach models Veritas Prep's core values and professional standards in all interactions with students, families, and staff. They support the implementation of Veritas Prep's school-wide routines, rituals, and behavioral expectations to maintain a positive, structured learning environment. They implement and monitor tier one school-wide incentive systems aligned with classroom management practices and school values. They assist in planning and implementing school-wide culture events, incentives, and celebrations. They support Assistant Principals with discipline systems as needed.

Student Coaching & Support

The Student Success Coach facilitates student coaching meetings informed by academic data. They work directly with students referred for behavioral or social-emotional support, coaching them to build skills to be successful academically. They collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tier two and tier three behavior plans and interventions. They support students with IEPs and 504 plans by facilitating scheduled breaks and accommodations. They respond to unsafe or escalated classroom situations to ensure student and staff safety.

Data & Collaboration

The Student Success Coach accurately tracks and analyzes student behavior data to inform interventions and student success plans. They regularly meet with the Student Success Team to review data, identify trends, and strategize supports. They represent the Student Success Team in Grade Team Meetings and collaborate with teachers to align supports. They monitor hallway behavior during instructional time and track hallway data to improve systems. They respond to attendance data to ensure all students are at school 95% of the time.

Student Engagement

The Student Success Coach supports structured student transitions and ensures accountability during non-classroom times. They build strong relationships with students to promote engagement, motivation, and belonging. They push in to classrooms to ensure students are engaged in learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • RBT certification
  • Current authorization to work in the United States
  • Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
  • Experience supporting school culture initiatives
  • Experience analyzing student behavior data and implementing tiered interventions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, staff, students, families, and other stakeholders

Benefits

Salary Range for this position is $47,000-$70,000, exclusive of fringe benefits. If hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
