About the role
This position is specifically for students nearing the end of their Master's degree in Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law at the university. Students can enrich their knowledge through a student internship at Cleerdin & Hamer in Amsterdam or Almere.
Responsibilities
- Join visits to the prison
- Participate in client meetings
- Review files
- Build the foundation for legal documents such as pleadings and request letters
- Observe colleagues working in various practices
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have completed their Master's degree in Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law at the university. Experience is not required but a strong interest in criminal law is essential.
Qualifications
Students must be enrolled in a relevant academic program and available for a full-time internship from January 1st, May 1st, or September 1st. The internship lasts four months.
Benefits
Students will gain practical experience in a professional setting, observe colleagues in various practices, and receive regular evaluations. At the end of the internship, they will receive a written evaluation.
Pay
The pay for this internship is competitive and is determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Schedule
The internship begins on January 1st, May 1st, or September 1st each year. Students are expected to commit to the entire duration of the internship.
