Student Sonographer Intern - Cardiovascular Lab

Responsibilities

• Aid cardiac (adult or pediatric) and vascular sonographers with patient preparation, positioning, and education.
• Observe and actively participate in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures under direct supervision.
• Learn the operation, maintenance, and proper care of ultrasound equipment.
• Support image acquisition, measurements, and preliminary documentation while developing technical sonography skills.
• Collaborate with cardiac, vascular, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Follow all patient privacy, safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies.
• Contribute to the efficiency and success of the imaging department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Cardiovascular Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
