About the Role
Monitors the operations of the Center’s Records department. Ensures communication with recruiter and DOL to maintain contractual requirements of on-board strength.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of student data into the center’s Data 5 system and the CIS system daily.
- Assign new students and schedule travel through Oasis System.
- Administer student records in accordance with PRH.
- Compile weekly termination reports and data for the center operations reports.
- Coordinate the collection of all student records upon termination including sealed confidential records.
- Oversee the transportation for all types of leave, transfers, and termination.
- Reconcile OMS Data to assure Data Five and SPAMIS are correct.
- Respond to student and staff inquiries concerning student pay and allowance routinely and timely.
- Maintain records in sequential order and reflect quality by keeping all information in a systematic format for easy review and audit.
- Publish the student morning/status report daily.
- Maintain accurate tracking and accountability of student clothing allowances.
- Schedule transportation for student winter break.
- Maintain accountability and control of bus tickets and other student transportation.
- Assess personnel needs and work with the Human Resources department to screen and interview potential staff.
- Recommend promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department.
- Conduct and prepare performance appraisals.
- Clearly communicate and consistently model appropriate CSS and employability skills.
- Maintain accountability of staff, students, and property.
- Adhere to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
- Foster and sustain a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of related experience.
- One to two years of supervisory experience.
- Experience working with youth.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
