Job Summary
Reporting to the Associate Registrar, serves as a member of the Student Records Office team to provide courteous, efficient and accurate information and service to faculty, staff, students and the public regarding all records and registration information with the focus on graduation functions.
Job Duties
- Performs degree audits for students applying for graduation.
- Awards credentials in Peoplesoft each semester by the established deadlines.
- Responsible for communicating graduation status to all applicants.
- Participates in graduation information sessions and the graduation ceremony.
- Maintains and monitors the Bluegrass Graduation mailbox and Bluegrass Subs email.
- Assists with the data entry of course exceptions.
- Processes universal student records duties as assigned.
- Assists in answering office emails and office coverage as needed.
- Fulfills customer service guidelines established for the office and abides by the guidelines of FERPA.
- Participates in professional development as time and resources allow.
- Completes all required KCTCS training modules and attends KCTCS and BCTC trainings as needed.
- Serves on college committees if requested and performs other duties as assigned by the Associate Registrar.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma and three years experience or equivalent.
- Associates Degree and four years experience or equivalent preferred.
- Additional skills requested: strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, ability to plan and adapt to change, strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, and experience working with general office equipment including copier, fax, telephone. Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.
