Department: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory – Beloit Health System, Beloit Memorial Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Move and transport patients.
• Prepare procedure charts, including pulling old charts as resources, printing patient ID stickers, referencing past studies in Synapse Cardiovascular, and preparing billing slips.
• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist with pulling supplies, pre‑procedure room preparation, patient preparation, procedure flow, and post‑procedure patient care.
• Practice aseptic techniques as necessary.
• Select contrast based on patient lab work.
• Assist in cleaning the labs and rooms.
• Answer phones and take messages.
• Initiate basic life support if necessary.
• Stock supplies, linens, and contrast in procedure rooms.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiology program.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills; experience with EMR is helpful.
• Adherence to established hospital and Cardiovascular Services department policies, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain ethical conduct and keep confidential personal and medical information about patients.
