Student Rad Tech PRN

Job Summary

The 2nd year radiology student, under supervision, is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Radiology Interns are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist Radiologic Technologist, Physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System.

Responsibilities

• Utilize sterile techniques, if necessary
• Operate complex radiographic equipment
• Absorb continuing education learned skills and experience
• Assist Radiologic Technologist and Physicians
• Function with constant supervision from licensed technologist and/or physician
• Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures

Qualifications

• Current second year student in JRCERT accredited School of Radiography
• Minimum six months clinical experience in multi-disciplined radiology department
• Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable
