Student Rad Tech PRN
Job Summary
The 2nd year radiology student, under supervision, is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Radiology Interns are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist Radiologic Technologist, Physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System.
Responsibilities
- Utilize sterile techniques, if necessary
- Operate complex radiographic equipment
- Absorb continuing education learned skills and experience
- Assist Radiologic Technologist and Physicians
- Function with constant supervision from licensed technologist and/or physician
- Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures
Qualifications
- Current second year student in JRCERT accredited School of Radiography
- Minimum six months clinical experience in multi-disciplined radiology department
- Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable
