About the role

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are seeking undergraduate participants for the Summer 2027 Future Insurance Professionals program at our headquarters in Fairfield, OH. This joint program with independent agencies provides three weeks of hands‑on training and classes, offering high‑level overviews of personal and commercial insurance, shadowing opportunities with Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Excess & Surplus Lines underwriters, as well as Claims and Loss Control associates, and interaction to gain relationship knowledge between agents and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in three weeks of hands‑on training and classes.
• Receive high‑level overviews of personal and commercial insurance.
• Spend time on underwriting teams to observe how accounts are underwritten.
• Shadow Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Excess & Surplus Lines underwriters.
• Shadow Claims and Loss Control associates.
• Gain relationship knowledge between agents and carriers through interactions.

Requirements

• Enrolled as a full‑time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university.
• Sophomore, junior, or senior standing (as of Fall 2026 semester).
• All majors are welcome to apply.
• Submit collegiate transcript(s) with application (unofficial transcripts accepted).
• In good academic standing; cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Schedule

This is a 3‑week program running from May 17th through June 4th.
