Job Summary

As our Student Nurse, you will transition from student to professional nurse, building trust with your clinical preceptor and patients in a supportive environment. Our comprehensive residency program aims to establish you as a reliable resource and helpful supporter for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Practice essential nursing skills under supervision.
• Collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to patient care plans, applying classroom knowledge.
• Support the organization's mission, philosophy, and strategic plan.
• Support unit support duties and activities.
• Maintain commitment to personal growth and development.
• Demonstrate good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain a professional and safe work environment.
• Work on projects or tasks as defined by the preceptor/manager.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Required course study of one of the following:
• a) A student enrolled in a board-approved pre-licensure program or school;
• b) Taking a board-approved continuing education course or a post-licensure course;
• c) Unlicensed graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire.
