Job Description

The Nurse Technician provides fundamentals of nursing care (i.e. personal and restorative care) to patients according to predefined guidelines, a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse, and under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse staff.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an NLN School of Nursing.
• Nurse Tech is required to provide new transcript to Human Resources at the completion of each semester.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
• Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days).

• Appropriate clinical judgment and professional skills to a patient population of all ages.
