About the role

As part of a patient-first approach, nurse interns partner with a registered nurse, nurse preceptor, or other licensed healthcare professional to develop critical thinking skills and gain experience for a smooth transition into clinical practice upon graduation from an accredited nursing or occupational program. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Active enrollment in an accredited RN or LPN program.
• Completion of at least one semester of an accredited RN or LPN program.
• Completion of Level 1 Fundamentals of Nursing (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience (preferred).

Qualifications

Required education: Vocational/Technical School/Diploma or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
