Student Nurse Intern Mother Baby

Location: Central Indiana – Ascension St. Vincent Women and Infants Hospital, Mother Baby Unit

About the role

Acquires hands-on clinical competency by delivering direct bedside care while concurrently enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Engages in direct bedside patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to bridge the gap between academic theory and clinical practice. Collaborates closely with a dedicated Preceptor to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while gaining knowledge of clinical workflows.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• High school diploma/GED required
• Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer
