Student Nurse Aide

We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate Student Nurse Aide to join our growing team and gain real‑world experience in long‑term care while providing quality care to our residents. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are essential. You must be able to work cooperatively, multitask efficiently, and remain professional in a fast‑paced environment.

About the role

In this position you will provide personal care to residents under supervision and within the scope of your training, support nursing staff with non‑nursing tasks, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents (grooming, bathing, peri care, dressing) under supervision.
• Change bed linens and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
• Routinely reposition residents and monitor skin integrity.
• Support nursing staff by making beds, passing water/ice, answering call lights, and organizing supplies.
• Assist with range‑of‑motion exercises and engage in reality orientation with residents.
• Identify and report any condition that requires management attention.

Requirements

• Written proof of completion of 16‑hour ADL training from an authorized school or instructor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent self‑discipline, patience, and a passion for serving others.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to follow documentation protocols.
• Respect for and adherence to the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
