Student Membership Employee (Summer)

About the role

Fitness and Recreation strives to help all student employees develop their career readiness upon graduation. Student Employees are applying academic learning by developing workforce competencies, per The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Run register for sales and membership, adhering to all proper payment handling processes.
• Provide program and service information, both in person and on the telephone.
• Enforce facility policies.
• Assist with data entry.
• Respond during emergency situations.
• Clean and maintain the center.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Benefits

• No benefits eligible.

Pay

• Targeted salary of $8.50 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

• Varies; may include early mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.

Travel

• Not required.
