About the role

As the Student Worker - Functional, you will clean and maintain assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including complying with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
• Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
• Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
• Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensure security of company assets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet commitments; job duties may change without formal notice.

Requirements

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $17.00.
