Student Leadership Coordinator, Residence Life

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive advising and developmental support for residential student leadership organizations, including the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and seven Community Councils.
• Support the creation and implementation of programs and initiatives that foster engagement, belonging, and leadership within the residential community.
• Design and manage processes that ensure the continued success and sustainability of student leadership organizations.
• Oversee the administrative and operational components necessary to sustain student leadership organizations.
• Strengthen partnerships within the institution and connect residential leadership organizations to broader professional networks.

Requirements

• Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree. 12 months in student programming, student services, or closely related experience.
• Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel Services or related field. 24 months of experience supervising or advising student leaders, particularly within residence life or student governance organizations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of student leadership development theories and practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Pay
