Responsibilities include: Organizing and processing client tax documentationSetting up tax projects and workflowsCommunicating with clients regarding missing informationTracking deadlines and advancing returns through the preparation processMaintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the workflow Ideal for students who enjoy: Organization and project coordinationClient communicationProblem-solving and attention to detail Workload is heaviest in March as tax documentation is received and processed. Tax Preparation Intern As a Tax Preparation Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience preparing tax returns using professional tax software. Responsibilities include: Entering and verifying tax data for individual tax returnsAssisting with 1099 preparation for business clientsSupporting tax professionals throughout the preparation processReviewing information for accuracy and completenessLearning how tax documents and regulations apply to real client situations Ideal for students who enjoy: Technical accounting workTax concepts and regulationsAnalytical thinking and attention to detail Workload increases significantly during mid-March through the April filing deadline.
