Department Description

The Day-Ahead & FTR Market Applications team builds and supports the technology behind efficient electricity market operations. This collaborative team delivers reliable, innovative solutions that help keep the grid operating smoothly while advancing one of the nation’s most forward-looking electricity markets.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Help enhance, test, and automate applications that support wholesale electricity markets.
• Work with experienced professionals, explore real market data, contribute to software and analytics projects, and learn how AI-driven tools can improve productivity in mission-critical systems.

What We Look For In a Candidate

• Rising junior pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of or experience with Python, Java, Oracle, Postgres, or other relational databases.
• Interest in using AI tools for code development, analysis, automation, or productivity improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team.
