About the role

The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing nursing operations within a designated area of the hospital. This includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing leadership to improve patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management.
  • Current RN license in New York State.
  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
