Student Intern, Engineering
About the role
TC Energy is hiring Engineering Interns in Houston, TX to support a variety of engineering disciplines and business areas beginning in May 2027. We are seeking students currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering program, including Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software/Computer Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
As an Engineering Intern, you will contribute to meaningful work that helps connect people, communities and industries to the energy they rely on every day. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals, applying your academic knowledge to real-world projects and helping support the safe and reliable delivery of energy across North America. As a valued member of our team, you will take on challenging and rewarding work, build lasting professional relationships and develop skills that will help shape your future career. Through collaboration, mentorship and practical experience, you'll gain insight into our business while contributing to work that matters.
Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering degree program
- Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027
- Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term
