About the role
The Community Mental Health and Wellness Division offers an array of services to meet the individual needs and strengths of youth and families. The PSR (Skillbuilder) intern provides skill building services to youth ages 5-21 who have a mental health diagnosis. The intern will provide skill building services in the home and community and be required to complete documentation that complies with state, county, agency and program regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide skill building services to youth ages 5-21 who have a mental health diagnosis
- Conduct home and community-based skill building sessions
- Complete all necessary documentation that complies with state, county, agency and program regulations
Requirements
- Junior or senior level undergraduate social work student or master's level social work student
- Some experience working with children and families preferred
- Valid and clean driver's license, along with a motor vehicle that is registered and the ability to conduct home and field visits required
