Job Description
Representative Duties/Assignments
- Aid in all day-to-day tasks including administrative, technical, and qualitative review of project documents
- Maintain and document project progress and activities
- Organize existing as-built drawings and project progress files
- Interact directly with staff, contractors, vendors, clients, and guests while meeting the Center of Hospitality Standards (COH)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, with a minimum B average or higher
- Valid Driver's License
- Evidence of self-motivation, independent learning, and academic achievement in a demanding course load setting is necessary to demonstrate the ability to work independently in this structured research setting
- Evidence of excellent written communication skills is required in order to produce accurate, brief, clear research statements answering specific research questions
- Strong interpersonal skills are needed to work directly with a variety of teams with diverse membership in office and field research settings
- Good verbal presentation skills are needed to explain research results to non-technical and technical audiences
- MS Office experience is required with strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, logic statement formulas, and macros
Preferences
- Demonstrated interest in project and construction management
- Student with additional research methods related coursework within their degree program
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, logic statement formulas, and macros
