About the Role
Rogue Credit Union's Internship Program is designed to guide and train students interested in a career in the department's field. Students are mentored by professionals and learn both interpersonal and business-related skills.
Responsibilities
- Assists the assigned department with research and special projects according to the internship documents (95% of time).
- Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned (5% of time).
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
- 0–2 years of relevant knowledge or experience.
Skills
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
- Ability to foster sound relationships with external entities (companies and/or individuals).
Physical Requirements
- Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds).
- Continuous sitting, occasional standing, and occasional walking.
- Finger dexterity while using a computer.
- Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone.
- Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and at 20 feet or more.
Work Environment
- Flexibility in scheduling tasks and projects.
- Must independently monitor hours and judge time needed for duties.
- Must proactively adjust to unpredictable schedules.
- Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions (e.g., robbery).
