About the Role

This position supports the high school community in a multifaceted capacity, involving academic, administrative, and student services functions.

Responsibilities

  • Support academic departments including Applied Technology, Art, Business, English, Family and Consumer Science, Health & PE, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Studies, and World Language.
  • Assist with district resources and media center operations.
  • Coordinate athletics and clubs activities, including sports seasons, sportsmanship, and athletic registration.
  • Provide guidance and student assistance services, including academic planning, scheduling, school choice/home instruction, college planning, transcript ordering, career planning, and guidance events.
  • Support nurse's office functions, including maintaining general information, medical forms, and health resources.
  • Manage technology initiatives, including the 1-to-1 laptop program, credential distribution, AUP/laptop agreement, insurance processing, and online services.
  • Maintain and update school calendar, student handbook, and weekly bulletins.
  • Facilitate parent and staff access to systems including Genesis, Parent Portal, Schoology, Google/Gmail, Naviance, Frontline Central, Vector Training, and FMX (Work Orders).
  • Assist with MySchoolBucks, free meal program, and miscellaneous forms.
  • Support faculty with Genesis, Google/Gmail, Schoology, and other internal platforms.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with student information systems (Genesis, Schoology, Naviance).
  • Ability to support multiple academic and administrative departments.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and online platforms.

Skills

  • Technical proficiency with Google Workspace, Gmail, and learning management systems.
  • Ability to manage records, forms, and documentation accurately.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, staff, and administration.
  • Capability to coordinate events, schedules, and resources efficiently.
