Student/Helper Teacher Cadet (Extended School Year) (ESY)

Position Overview

This is a summer contract position providing instructional support, training, and personal assistance to students with disabilities under the guidance and supervision of a licensed teacher.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students with disabilities.
• Offer training and personal assistance to students as directed.
• Support the Extended School Year (ESY) program.

Qualifications

• You must be a current Teacher Cadet to apply.
• Employees in this position must commit to the entire ESY.

Additional ESY Information

• Student Days: June 29, 2026 - July 24, 2026 (July 3rd Student/Staff Holiday)
• Student Hours: Elementary 8:00 AM- 2:00PM (4 hours), Secondary: 9:00AM - 1:00 PM (4 hours)
• Staff Workdays: June 24 - June 26, 2026 (*Open House: June 26, 2026)
• Staff Work Hours: Elementary 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM, Secondary 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Work Location

Work location will be dependent on student and site needs.
