About the role
This role is essential for timely record processing, helping to reduce delays in program admissions and in student clinical placements.
Responsibilities
- Processes all CNA (STNA) health records, background checks, and drug screen clearances.
- Reviews, analyzes, and interprets documents submitted by all CNA (STNA) students’ health records to determine completion of health record requirements.
- Advises CNA students of any deficiencies in their health record and indicates appropriate corrective action.
- Adheres to Federal and State regulations and College practices and guidelines to ensure institutional compliance.
- Displays technical competence working within the student information system, document management/workflow system, and other electronic tools.
- Scans and indexes all background check reports, student waivers, and adverse letters.
- Maintains student health information to document encounter and action taken.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and practices sound ethical judgment toward privacy.
- Provides guidance to students on documentation requirements and assists with navigating the health records system.
- Answers office-related questions and provides guidance or advice on department and campus policies and processes.
- Monitors office communications (phone, email, chat, etc.) to disperse or resolve inquiries.
- Contributes toward achieving the office goal of successfully servicing students.
- Assists with the quarterly report of health records compliance.
- Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in a healthcare-related field.
- State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).

Pay
$18.81 per hour
