Job Responsibilities
- Assist in creating high-quality visual content for various mediums, including posters, flyers, social media graphics, digital signage, and web assets.
- Help ensure brand consistency across all materials by adhering to Seminole Dining's visual identity guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Media Coordinator to design marketing materials that support campus campaigns, events, and promotions.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new design concepts and strategies to engage the student body.
- Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring they meet all technical specifications.
- Assist in editing and curating images for marketing collateral, as needed.
- Organize and maintain a digital library of creative assets, including templates, images, and design elements.
Qualifications
- Must be a current student, preferably in a field related to graphic design, visual arts, marketing, or communications.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Canva or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to accept and implement constructive feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- A portfolio showcasing original design work (can include academic, personal, or professional projects).
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects) is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their design requirements.
- Knowledge of photography and image editing techniques.
- An interest in sustainability or campus dining services is a plus.
