What You'll Do
The University Advancement Division seeks a Student Giving and Engagement Officer to join the Tufts Annual Giving Team (TAG).
- Builds a culture of giving among Tufts students.
- Runs signature fundraising campaigns.
- Cultivates campus partnerships.
- Prepares students to become engaged alumni donors and volunteers.
- Oversees all aspects of Tufts Student Alumni Collective (TSAC), including:
- Student giving campaigns
- On-campus engagement events
- Donor stewardship
- Social media and brand management
- The recruitment and management of student employees
- Led senior class engagement programming.
- Recruits and manages a 1st Reunion volunteer committee.
- Builds partnerships across campus departments.
- Collaborates with the broader TAG team on annual giving priorities.

- Basic Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience are typically acquired by:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 0-2+ years of relevant experience in fundraising, student engagement, event planning, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Interest in and ability to leverage Excel and other technology to organize, prioritize, track, and manage a large constituency base at a personal level.
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative engagement strategies.
- Experience managing social media and creating content across formats (reels, static posts, stories); familiarity with design tools such as Canva is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software applications, including Word and Excel. Familiarity with database management and reporting tools is a plus.
- Position requires significant time invested on-campus, occasional evening and weekend hours for events and programs.
- Pay Range:
- Minimum $55,600.00
- Midpoint $69,500.00
- Maximum $83,400.00
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
