About the role
iE-USA is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit educational exchange organization founded in 2002. We are devoted to building and strengthening relationships and understanding among the people of the world, believing that learning about other cultures, languages, and customs is the best way to eliminate fears and prejudices. We provide individual care and direct support to exchange students, host families, local schools, and our team members, and are certified by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET). Bring people together, make a real difference in the lives of teenagers and families—in your local community and across the world. With as little as 2‑5 hours a month, you can meet people from other countries and cultures and help make dreams come true.
Responsibilities
- Help find caring host families in your local community
- Assist host families with selecting the right exchange student for their family
- Support students and host families during their exchange experience
