Student Exchange Ambassador - Abilene area
About iE‑USA
iE‑USA is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit educational exchange organization founded in 2002. We are devoted to building and strengthening relationships and understanding among the people of the world, believing that learning about other cultures, languages, and customs is the best way to eliminate fears and prejudices. We provide individual care and direct support to our exchange students, host families, local schools, and iE team members, and we are certified by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET). Volunteer Opportunities
With as little as 2–5 hours a month, you can meet people from other countries and cultures and help make dreams come true. You can choose how you want to help:
- Find caring host families in your local community.
- Assist host families with selecting the right exchange student for their family.
- Support students and host families during their exchange experience.
Training and Support
Volunteers receive training, ongoing one‑on‑one support from our team, and opportunities to make friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
Impact
By bringing people together, you make a real difference in the lives of teenagers and families in your local community and around the world, building and strengthening relationships locally and globally.
