About the role

Serves as a student event specialist. This is a student position which encompasses customer services, AV support for clients, room set ups, beverage services and opening/closing buildings. This position assists with special projects for the camps and events we have in the building throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma
  • Attach Fall 2026 Schedule and Cover letter
  • Background check
  • Food handlers certificate paid for by the Forum
  • Training for minors on campus, along with other required University policy trainings
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to take constructive feedback and criticism
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to work independently with specific guidelines to perform routine tasks and problem solve when needed
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with staff and supervisors
  • Maintain standards for workplace courtesy and respect
  • Understand audio visual technology and ability to learn/keep up with ever-changing technology
  • Respond in a positive manner to service requests and provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of Audio Visual technology and equipment
  • Flexible and ability to handle last minute changes
  • Able to work as part of a team and work independently

Pay

Targeted salary of $9.50 - $10.50/hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Flexible schedule days, nights and/or weekends up to 18 hours per week dependent upon client/building needs.
