Student Equipment Manager

About the Role

Student Managers, under the supervision of full-time equipment managers, will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations for the University of Georgia's football equipment room.

Responsibilities

• Assist in practice set-up and break down
• Assist coaches with their needs
• Perform laundry duties
• Maintain practice equipment and pads
• Maintain inventory control of Nike apparel
• Perform duties assigned on game-days

Schedule

Student equipment managers must be prepared to work weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to sit and talk or hear
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision, and peripheral vision
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
