Student Employment - Specialist 1
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. All employees are expected to maintain a permanent residence within the State of Utah as a condition of employment. New employees must provide a valid Utah residential address within 30 days of their start date.
About the Role
The Specialist allows students from the Division of Communication and Performing Arts into edit suites, the radio station, and recording studio. The Specialist will also track those who are allowed to enter Division areas.
Responsibilities
- Manage access for students to edit suites, the radio station, and recording studio.
- Track and monitor individuals entering Division areas.
- Maintain good working relationships across the College with a broad range of diverse people, including those with disabilities.
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
Requirements
- GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Currently enrolled in 6 credit hours for the fall semester.
- Currently enrolled in 6 credit hours for the spring semester.
- Awarded Federal Work Study program.
- Completed the FAFSA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Dependable with strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, Pro Tools, Midi, and/or Adobe Audition.
- Student in the Division of Communication and Performing Arts.
