Student Employee-Payroll Services (Fall)

About the role

The Student Assistant will work closely with the Lead Tax Accountant to ensure compliance with employee taxation for those working remotely outside of Oklahoma. This role also provides periodic coverage of the front desk, including answering phone calls and assisting with walk-in traffic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain system-generated notifications for employees working out of state.
• Email documentation to employees working out of state.
• Track and log receipt of documentation.
• Perform other duties as needed to assist the Lead Tax Accountant.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, capable of manipulating spreadsheets.
• Effective communication skills, able to communicate via email, phone, or in person.
