Purpose/ Job Summary
Aspire Business Clinic (ABC) is seeking a student employee to assist in operations for ABC. Duties will include, but not limited to, assisting the ABC Director in new client intake meetings, developing and managing project timelines for ABC clients, and coordinating outreach to potential ABC clients.
Essential Functions
- Work collaboratively inside a project team to develop actionable solutions.
- Be present & contribute to all project team meetings.
- Complete work assigned by the ABC Director or RWPSOB faculty member assigned to oversee the project.
- Maintain professional & positive communication with the ABC clients.
- Ensure the final solution developed for a client is at the highest competence level possible.
- Participate in ABC meetings.
- Ability to attend meetings outside of normal business hours (9am-5pm) on occasion to meet ABC client needs, particularly in-person meetings.
- Interns would be provided with advanced notice of meetings as much as possible by the ABC Director.
Qualifications
- Ability to fluently read, write, and understand the English language.
- One year's experience with CSMAC.
- Graphic design and social media experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Current Columbia College student, with junior or senior standing preferred.

- Talk or hear.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Climb or balance.
- Stoop, kneel, or crawl.
- Lift, carry and move a minimum of pounds on an occasional basis.
- Type on a computer keyboard and use a computer monitor on a frequent and regular basis.
Work Conditions
- Rarely exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Possibly exposed to hazards and physical risks to personal safety may occur while operating certain equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
