Student Employee position in the School of Agricultural Sciences. This is not a College Work Study position.

About the role

Undergraduate graphic design artist needed to assist in cleanup and completion of an invasive pest species 3D digital curriculum for the Texas Invasive Species Institute website. You will work closely with computer science faculty and invasive species faculty to engineer and depict 3D models of specific pests and plants they inhabit, as well as post provided content to act as a “pop-up” when the user clicks on the plant and pest.

Responsibilities

• Clean up and complete 3D digital models of invasive pest species
• Collaborate with computer science and invasive species faculty to create accurate 3D depictions of pests and their host plants
• Integrate provided content to display as interactive “pop-ups” on the website

Requirements

• Preferred student classification: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
• Graphic design skills, particularly in 3D modeling

Pay

$10 per hour
