About the role
Apogee Architectural Metals is hiring student co‑ops for 2027 at the Wausau, WI and Monett, MO locations. Positions require an eight‑ to nine‑month commitment (January 2027–August 2027 or May 2027–December 2027) and provide hands‑on project experience and professional development. Potential opportunities include Operations Excellence Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Supply Chain roles. Apogee Architectural Metals (Metals) is a segment within Apogee that provides aluminum windows, curtainwall (soon to be retired), storefront and entrance systems, offering an integrated set of capabilities including design, engineering, extrusion, finishing, fabrication, and assembly. Market‑leading brands supported are Alumicor, EFCO, Linetec, and Tubelite, known for dependable on‑time service, robust engineering, broad product portfolio, and industry‑leading quality.
Responsibilities
- Structured, project‑based program focusing on skill set growth, technology and systems knowledge, business acumen, and professional development
- Regular coaching and feedback sessions with mentors and supervisors
- Leadership opportunities through activities and presentations
- Connect with the leadership team through various events
- Exposure to other Apogee locations and business units
- Partner with other interns through projects, community events, and social activities
