About the role
To be considered for the State Certified Nurse Aide training program at NHC Glasgow, applicants must provide a completed application, valid photo identification, and social security card. There are no absences or tardiness allowed during the course.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a grade average of 80 to continue in the course.
- Purchase one set of scrubs to wear daily to class and clinical.
- A criminal background check and consultation with the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults will be conducted.
- Only those without a felony conviction, certain misdemeanor charges, and/or found on the abuse registry will be admitted to the class.
- Candidates are chosen based on facility need, shift availability, flexibility, and previous work history and attitude.

The best qualified candidates for the class will be chosen based on the above criteria.

Schedule
Rotating weekends are available as employment opportunities upon successful completion of the course.
