Job Details
To be considered for the State Certified Nurse Aide Training Program, applicants must provide the following at the time of their interview:
- Completed Application
- Valid Photo Identification
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED
- Proof of Social Security Card
Class Schedule
Class weeks one and two are from 8:00am - 4:30pm, while week three is from 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Requirements
No absences or tardiness is permitted. A grade average of an 80 is required to continue in the course.
Criminal Background Check
A criminal background check and consultation with the South Carolina and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults will be conducted.
Admission Criteria
Only those with no felony convictions, certain misdemeanor charges, and/or not found on the abuse registry will be admitted to the class.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on facility needs, shift availability, entrance exam scores, flexibility, and attitude.
Employment Opportunities
Upon successful completion of the course, employment opportunities will be available.
