Student Camp Counselor - Athletics - Beach Volleyball

About the Role

The Tulane Beach Volleyball Youth Camp Counselor is responsible for creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for campers. Counselors will assist with instruction, supervise daily camp activities, encourage teamwork and sportsmanship, and serve as positive role models for young athletes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers throughout all camp activities.
• Assist coaches with teaching fundamentals.
• Lead and participate in drills, games, and recreational activities.
• Encourage teamwork, good sportsmanship, confidence, and respect among campers.
• Provide age-appropriate instruction and support to players of varying skill levels.
• Maintain attendance records and monitor camper behavior.
• Assist with equipment setup, organization, and cleanup.
• Communicate effectively with camp staff, coaches, parents, and campers.
• Enforce camp rules, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Help create a fun, inclusive, and positive camp experience for all participants.
