Student Athlete Tutor

Responsibilities

• Provide subject-specific tutoring to reinforce classroom instruction and improve student understanding.
• Help students develop effective study strategies, time management, and organizational skills.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage self-assessment.
• Aid with writing assignments, proper citation, and use of academic resources.
• Connect students with appropriate academic support services when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student at NWCC.
• Communicates well with students.
• Maintains an interested attitude and is both friendly and patient.
• Supports a facilitative, conversational, inquiry-based approach to consultations with students.
