Position Information
The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to welding instructors.
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in lay out, fabrication, basic welding and shop safety.
- Able to operate a track torch and pipe beveling machine.
- Able to set up, trouble shoot and operate welding equipment.
- Know proper lifting techniques and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Duties
- Assist instructors with fabricating and making repairs.
- Take inventory or shop materials and supplies.
- Provide basic clean up and maintenance of shop.
