Student Assistant - Ogden
Duties/Responsibilities
- Horticultural crop care like potting, transplanting, trellising, pest monitoring (no spraying required), manual pollination’s and data recording.
- Lab work involving fruit quality analyses, data entry, seed processing and cataloging.
About the role
This position will help with all aspects of Dr. Ogden’s CEA breeding program. This will involve a combination of greenhouse, lab, and field work.
Qualifications
- Extensive horticultural skills and lab experience.
Skills
Basic horticultural skills are required for this position.
Physical Demands
Working in hot and humid greenhouse. Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds maximum rarely. Bending over to provide crop care. Driving.
