Position Summary Information

The purpose of this position is to serve as second-in-command on Del Mar’s student newspaper, the Foghorn News.
Minimum Qualifications: Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a college publication or other news publication preferred. Graphic artist experience a plus. Knowledge of AP style preferred. Ability to use InDesign and Photoshop programs preferred. Skilled in video editing preferred.

Job Duties

• Manage a team of volunteers and other paid student assistants.
• Write stories, design pages, shoot photos and produce videos.
