Student Assistant - Hurricane Club

About the role

The Hurricane Club Student Assistant will provide support to the Manager and Director of the Hurricane Club in day-to-day operations, donor engagement, and game day activities. This role is ideal for a current University of Miami student interested in gaining experience in athletics fundraising, event operations, and donor relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aid Hurricane Club staff with general office tasks, including preparing mailings, organizing materials, and updating records.
• Support donor events by helping with set-up, registration, and guest services.
• Aid with gameday operations, including greeting donors, managing hospitality areas, and distributing materials.
• Maintain accurate donor and membership records through data entry and organization.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for fundraising campaigns and special events.
• Cookordination with other Athletics staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Current University of Miami student.
• Interest in sports management, fundraising, or event planning.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and game days as needed.
