Student Aquatics Cashier (Summer)

About the role

Providing customer service to the members of the Murray Case Sells Swim Complex. Serves as the first point of contact, responsible for greeting patrons, processing admission fees via POS systems, managing cash drawers, and answering inquiries about facility hours, rates, and programs. This role ensures a welcoming environment, keeps the front desk area clean, and completes other duties as assigned. Assisting with emergency procedures, which may include clearing the front desk area, following emergency action plans, and reporting incidents.

Responsibilities

• Keep the front desk area clean
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Assist with emergency procedures

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard certification
• CPR for Lifeguards or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification
• Current First-Aid certification

• Mon-Fri: 6am - 8pm
• Saturdays: 10 am - 2 pm
• Sundays: 1 - 6 pm

Pay

Pay Range: Targeted salary $8.50/hr, based on experience
