Student Ambassador - Student Recruitment & Outreach
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greets and directs prospective students and visitors;
- Routes telephone calls;
- Schedules appointments;
- Captures daily activities of the front desk, including maintaining key inventory, database maintenance, and data entry;
- Performs word processing tasks, such as business correspondence, forms, tables, labels, flyers, posters, and other office documents;
- Tracks and files office documents, purchase orders, and invoices;
- Provides back-up coverage for other office staff;
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED;
- Successfully enrolled in a degree program;
- Registered for at least 6 credit hours each term (excluding summer);
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (maximum 30 hours per week);
- Occasional evening hours and weekend hours required;
- Can remain employed for one additional term after graduating, as long as the above requirements are met.

Supports the Student Recruitment and Outreach department with recruiting prospective students to the college.
Best Consideration Date
This position will support the Student Recruitment and Outreach department with recruiting prospective students to the college. Duties will include attending off-campus events in the community, providing presentations to prospective students, assisting prospective students with the admissions application and onboarding, conducting campus tours, and assisting with special projects.
