Student Account Specialist (2 of 2)

About the Role

Handles customer service, payment processing, holding account entries, and third-party transactions. Prepares student documents and processes requests received by the Bursar’s office in a timely manner. Applies payments to appropriate accounts in alignment with CSU policies and procedures. Collaborates with Bursar staff to achieve departmental goals while maintaining professional interactions with all internal and external stakeholders. Performs other functionally related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, accounting, finance, education administration, or related field.
• Two (2) years of customer service experience.
• Related work experience may be substituted for the educational requirement. One (1) year of related work experience can be substituted for one (1) year of education. For example, a candidate with a high school diploma, GED, or state-recognized equivalent and four (6) years of experience can be eligible to apply.
