About the Scholarship

This Resident Scholarship allows CT surgery residents to attend the STS CABG Academy and advance their skills in coronary surgery by learning the latest research and techniques.

Course Description

Formerly the STS Coronary Conference, this event has a new name but still offers the same high-quality, immersive education. Over the course of three days, attendees will participate in:

  • Expert-led presentations
  • Video demonstrations of surgical techniques
  • Case-based discussions
  • Abstract sessions covering:
    • Conduit selection
    • Personalized grafting strategies
    • Off- and on-pump CABG
    • Hybrid revascularization
    • Minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques
    • High-risk patient management

The Training Village returns this year with an increased focus on hands-on learning.
