Key Responsibilities

• Working under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer as a member of a team in the design and preparation of structural calculations, technical reports, bridge analyses, and construction documents.
• Assisting with the design and development of transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and related infrastructure components.
• Preparation of accurate plans, design details, specifications, and construction documents.
• Cordination with clients, subconsultants, utility providers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project development.
• Supporting field reviews, inspections, and constructability assessments when needed.
• Assisting in the preparation of permit applications and agency submittal packages.
• Contributing to project scope development while supporting schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Working collaboratively with roadway, geotechnical, traffic, and other engineering disciplines to support project success.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in structural or bridge engineering design, preferably within transportation projects.
• EIT Certification preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software preferred (MicroStation, OpenBridge Designer, LEAP Bridge, STAAD, or similar tools).
• Understanding of bridge and transportation structure design principles and applicable design standards.
• Detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and standard industry software.
• Able to work effectively in multidisciplinary team environments and meet project deadlines.
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $68,000 - $76,000 per year. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
